The PIVOT Foundation is now taking applications for its Pivotal Women Job Training Program.
The Pivotal Women Job Training Program is the Foundation’s flagship initiative and will consist of a spring and fall cohort where women who are unemployed or underemployed can come and get job preparedness training to develop their skills and competencies so that they can either assimilate back into the workforce or pivot into a new career.
The fall cohort will begin in September and will be 4 weeks long.
The training sessions are from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and will cover topics such as resume-building, interviewing skills, social media recruitment, networking, image consulting, job offer negotiation and work/life balance.
After the successful completion of the cohort, The PIVOT Foundation will assist in connecting these pivotal women with job opportunities with our corporate partners. Please note that you MUST attend all sessions in order to qualify for job placement assistance.
If you or someone you know is interested in being a part of the Pivotal Women Job Training Program, please have them contact Glenda Swain at firstname.lastname@example.org.
